+++High-level Migration Conference in Skopje, March 17, 2016

Over 80 participants from South East European countries, representing national and local authorities, as well as international donors met in Skopje on 17 March 2016 during the International Conference “Acting together in Migration Management-Enhancing Coordination among Local and Central Level” organized by NALAS and MARRI: http://www.nalas.eu/News/Crisis_mngt

+++Urban Agenda in the focus

The upcoming EU-Knowledge-Network of the Austrian Association of Cities and Towns on April 26, 2016, in Vienna will emphasize on the current developments of the EU’s Urban Agenda which should be adopted during the EU-Netherland’s presidency. The meeting is part of the NALAS - EU-project officers network workshop within the framework of the BACID activities for NALAS.

+++Migration Conference in Skopje on March 17, 2016

As a follow up of the migration conference last October in Zagreb the upcoming event “Acting together in migration management – enhancing coordination among central and local level” will focus on how to strengthen the role of local authorities in the migrant crisis management.

+++Workshop on Quality Managment in Public Sector with ReSPA in Vienna, 2015 July 15 & 16th

In the two days workshop Quality Management knowledge and experience from KDZ-experts and the City Hall of Vienna or the Austrian Study Grand Authority have been given (instruments, systems – CAF, ISO, EFQM, successful ways implementing QM - tips and obstacles). Representatives of ReSPA QPAS working group from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia participated in the workshop.

+Land management and taxation in South-East Europe, implemented in cooperation with NALAS

+Smart economic cooperation empowerment in Bosnia, in cooperation with Local economic agency of the municipality of Cazin

+Policy Evaluation of Local/Regional Development and Territorial Competitiveness Programs in Serbia, in cooperation with the Institute for Territorial Economic Development

+Common Action for Communal and Regional Development in Macedonia, in cooperation with the municipality of Jegunovce and Community Development Institute

+Strengthening the capacity of Albanian Companies to apply at IPA founded Projects in Albania, in cooperation with the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry
