New video: What is the Common Assessment Framework (CAF)?

CAF is the European guideline for excellent public management & public sector organisations.

CAF stands for “Common Assessment Framework” and was designed by an EU working group as a quality management system for the public sector in the late 1990s. Meanwhile CAF has become a recognized tool for "sustainable administrative reform and capacity building". Already several thousand European public sector organisations started a continuous improvement process with internal self-assessment based on CAF.

In this new video, Thomas Prorok, Head of the Austrian CAF Center at KDZ - Center for Public Administration Research introduces the CAF for better Quality in Public Administration. You get an overview about CAF and insights into the 9 criteria and 28 sub-criteria of the CAF.
