Public Finance and Federalism
We develop forward-looking models to optimise the management and financing of public services within the multi-level system (federal government - provinces - municipalities). It is a matter of particular concern to us to further improve cooperation between the actors in federalism.

Our studies are carried out on behalf of the federal government, the provinces and municipalities as well as other key actors, such as the Association of Austrian Towns and Cities or the Vienna Chamber of Labour. This is supplemented by projects within the framework of research funding.
