The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Here we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

We are obliged to the retention period under tax law (seven years), your data will be stored until this period has expired. For bookings, shipping purposes, and tax obligations, your data will be passed on to third parties. the bank for the purpose of direct debiting, the shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and our tax advisor.

  • Do you register on our website in order to be able to download certain information and tools, or to register for a free event?

We then use your data, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, to provide you with the information, tools and access you require. At events, we need your data to register on site. We will save you until you withdraw your consent.

  • You register on our website to receive our free newsletter or our free trade magazine Forum Public Management?

As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to register.   • Do you register on our website in order to receive free information on further education events, news?

We then use your data, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, to send you the information you require. We will save you until you withdraw your consent.

  • Do you register on our website to use tools on our member platform?

We then use your user name and the password you have chosen to log you into our tools on the member platform on connected websites (e.g. KDZ library system, practice planner, other subject-specific MediaWiki pages) via a single sign-on service (SSO), if you navigate to it and are logged into our homepage. This SSO does not use an external login service.

Web analysis: We don't follow you!

We want to improve our website offer for you and are dependent on the functions of "Google Analytics", a software tool for web analysis.

This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyze the activities of a user across devices. Your privacy is important to us, so the user data is pseudonymized.

In order to be able to act more strongly via social media services in the age of Internet communication 2.0, we use social media plug-ins from the providers Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, Youtube, Slideshare, Researchgate, sharing via WhatsApp and email).
