New Podcast episode: Financing the Future: How Cities Align Budgets with the SDGs

The new episode of KDZ in Dialogue, hosted by Siegfried Fritz, focuses on the link between local public finance and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). KDZ has been supporting four European cities in aligning their municipal financial systems with the Agenda 2030, and this work is presented through the Project SLPF.

Guests Thomas Prorok and Sara Deranja provide insights into how cities are integrating the SDGs into their financial management systems. The discussion explores different approaches, highlights innovative practices, and addresses the challenges municipalities face in this process. By shedding light on both local experiences and the broader European perspective, the episode emphasizes the crucial role of public finance in building sustainable, inclusive, and resilient communities.
