Die Factsheets - Finanzausgleich kompakt 2025 bieten einen kompakten und transparenten Einblick in das komplexe System des österreichischen Finanzausgleichs. Sie erläutert zentrale Begriffe, zeigt die wesentlichen Elemente wie Ertragsanteile, eigene Abgaben und Transfers auf und macht die vielfältigen Verflechtungen zwischen Ländern und Gemeinden sichtbar. Zudem werden die Neuerungen des Finanzausgleichsgesetzes 2024 erläutert und Reformoptionen – von Aufgabenorientierung bis Stärkung der Abgabenautonomie – aufgezeigt. Die Studie unterstützt damit fundierte Diskussionen und die Weiterentwicklung des Finanzausgleichs.
