The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a widely recognised quality assessment model developed to improve the performance of public administrations. It aims to continuously promote the efficiency, effectiveness and modernisation of the public sector. The particular importance of the CAF is particularly evident in times of increasing demands on the public sector.
In order to fully utilise its potential and respond to the changing needs of the public sector, the CAF is constantly evolving. To support this development process, we are inviting staff from all levels of government and CAF experts from all countries to participate in the CAF Study 2024. This study, conducted by the KDZ CAF Centre, aims to analyse the effectiveness of the CAF holistically, identify potential for improvement and point out ways to develop it further. Your participation in this study is crucial for the quality of the results and recommendations.
The study is part of the project Building Administrative Capacities of the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova - BACID III and is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation.
We kindly ask you to participate in this survey and share it with as many colleagues and other people in your network who are familiar with the CAF as possible. In this way, we can strengthen the relevance of the results and make a significant contribution to the high-quality further development of the CAF.
The survey is open until 14 October 2024. Thank you for your support!
